F.I.T. for Fitness Professionals
Developed & Facilitated by Fabrizio Dalle Piane & Tania Haberland
“Our own physical body possesses a wisdom which we who inhabit the body lack. We give it orders which make no sense.” ~Henry Miller
“Think with your whole body” ~Taisen Deshimaru
“Somatics: The art and science of the inter-relational process between awareness, biological function and environment, all three factors being understood as a synergistic whole.” It is “the study of the soma, soma being the biological body of functions by which and through which awareness and environment are mediated.”
~ Thomas Hanna
F.I.T. is an innovative, experiential, adaptable training designed for personal trainers and fitness professionals.
INNOVATIVE: The course combines the latest theories of sport coaching & mind-body science with the ancient knowledge of yoga & martial arts philosophies. The result is an exciting blend of inspiring, intuitive, person-centred practices rooted in practical, every-day awareness and solutions.
EXPERIENTIAL: The training is based on creative exploration of the FATA Method around specific themes. Transforming creativity into practical experience, the training: accelerates learning; stimulates intuitive understanding of body language and behavioral messages; develops the empathic capacity of the professional to support clients’ education and health.
ADAPTABLE: The concepts, ideas and practices explored are not about acquiring a new fitness-training technique. Rather, they are adaptable to all forms of physical exercise-- from circuit to personal training, Pilates to Yoga, Aqua-gym to Aerobics, etc. Furthermore, the course is designed as a set of modules that can either be taken as separate, stand-alone units or as a complete training, flexible to the institution & individuals needs.
